2009:
Motor sports Authentic (Action), is producing the cars in the Brushed Metal finish along with the regular paint schemes & special paint schemes in VERY LIMITED NUMBERS. They will also be continuing with the production #'S on the Foil Sticker on the box. There will be less produced and have upgrades to the years past.
This item is considered to be in excellent condition. It may or may not have very slight flaws, which came from the factory. It was never displayed. The packaging for this item is considered to be in good to excellent condition.
From 2006 to current day the buyer of any ARC or RCCA 1/24-scale car can register their diecast just like you register an everyday car. ARC = Action Racing Collectibles (Motor Sport Authentic).

2013 Lionel ARC Engine Detail and Hood Hinge Statement
With the rise of materials and production costs in China, Lionel made a decision to modify the engine detail of the 2013 Action Racing Collectibles die-cast. With this change, Lionel was able to avoid a $10 price increase which would have impacted the end consumer.
The revised engine design is now similar to the level of detail found on other major manufacturers of die-cast cars at this price point in the United States and Europe.
Lionel has also initiated a hood hinge redesign which will begin rolling out on all hood-open ARC die-cast in mid-Spring 2013. With this redesign, the hoods will open more fully and will also be easier to open and close.
